Suitable for: Blagdon gravity filters are good for any pond where water filtration is required. Blagdon filters in the middle of the range in pond gravity filters. Can not used in particular when water is to be pumped to a higher level such as a waterfall or feature. These gravity filters come with their own UVC. They are well suited to small ponds of 2,000 litres up to larger ponds of 14,000 litres.
What we liked: The filter can be placed any where around a pond. It comes with both biological and mechanical filtration material. Construction is good, as is the filter layout and number of foams. Great valued gravity filter.
Less than ideal: There is no backwash system, you have to pull the foams out of the filter to properly clean the foams.
What every filter has as standard: They all have intergrated UVC's, 5 metre power cables, biological medium for micro organism growth, 2 year warranty
