Xavan Pond Liners - Cozzie's thoughts

Ideal pond size:Over 3,000 litres which requires a super tough material.

What we liked: Xavan is a non woven, multi-layed material from DuPont, sandwiched between coatings of thermoplastic elastomer to give it its unique properties.  It has been used successfully in a variety of environmental containment applications for more than a decade. Due to the tough characteristics of this pondliner, it has been used extensively around Australia, it has a high tear strength and puncture resistance.. Fantastic value for money. Long warranty. 

Less than ideal: It is not suited to small ponds, or ponds with sharp shapes. It can be a little stiff, when trying to confirm to smaller area's. Otherwise Nothing we can find for its intended purpose, however, where high wear resistance is critical Xavan is the best.  

Ideally suited for: Ponds where there is a chance of dogs, duck, kids and turtles. This material is almost bullet proof.
