What we liked:
Everything. The features and attention to detail is superb. Next to the brand new Dual inlet Oase Aquamax, it's the best filter pump on the market. 5 year warranty including impeller.

Possible drawbacks:
The pumping height may not suit some applications, but that's where the new Dual inlet Aquamax comes in Oase Dual Aquamax.

The specially designed impeller, allows debris and solids up to 8mm (on larger models) to pass through en route to the filter system. The strainer is simple to disassemble and to clean, neither pump nor hose need to be dismantled. With a life expectancy about 10 times longer, and up to a 75% savings on running cost over most pumps, there is no doubt that Aquamax is a superb pump.

Another wonderful feature of the new Aquamax is the side mounted 1 1/2" BSP threaded outlet, complete with a free moving swivel joint that enables you to direct flow in virtually any direction. A threaded step down hose tail is also supplied, allowing the simple connection of four different size hoses up to 40mm

Oase pumps are without doubt the finest pumps available in Australia for a given project, the cost of these German made pumps may be a little higher, but worth every cent. The practical design along with quality and range of accessories is second to none.

Asynchronous motors

• Motor housing with split shaft. (Made of stainless steel.)
  Thanks to this construction, the electrical parts are safely separated from the mechanical part. In addition, the electrical parts are sealed with artificial resin, which guarantees maximum safety. Dynamic seals are not used, giving silent running with no wear!
• The rotor
  The copper rotor is enclosed in a housing made of stainless steel and mounted on a ceramic shaft. Both are lubricated by the pumped water, meaning that no oil is required, thanks to its proven split shaft technology.
• The Bearings
  As well as the rotor shaft are made of wear-resistant oxide ceramic.
• The Impeller
  With flow-adapted blades. High turnover rate, yet at the same time frictionless and silent running.
• The Pump Housing
  Is flow - adapted and made of high-quality plastic.
• The Strainer Basket
  Which surrounds the pump can be opened easily, and it also prevents large particles entering the motor.
