Cozzie's observations about Oase Filtoclear filters - 2 New models have arrived 20000 & 30000

Suitable for:  Oase Filtoclear is the top of the range in pond pressure filters. In particular when water is to be pumped to a higher level such as a waterfall or feature. We recommened a gravity filter when Koi or turtles are present. The larger 2 units are suitable for Koi. 

What we liked: The cleaning and backwash system is brilliant, as they don't need to be taken These are German made filters. They are the best filters available to use in pond filtration. Their clear water guarantee. Every model has a backwash system that is very easy to use. UV lamp "on" indicator. Typical Oase quality, second to none.  

What comes as standard on every filter: 5 metre power cables, 20-40mm outlet hosetails, Maximum pressure of 0.5 bar. 3 year warranty. The 2 larger units come with 38 & 50 mm hosetails. 

Less than ideal: These are the best filters for pressure filtration, but pressure filters in general are not ideal for Koi or turtles. Gravity filters are best.
